Contents: An introduction to Spreadsheets, for Teachers who are interested in starting their own files in Excel, or in the early stages of developing a working knowledge of this package.  Basic Functions; Input data; manipulate data; Printouts; Report generation; Automated Student Report Writing; Creative use of data.

   A chance to find out what Excel can do for you.  Meet some of the ways it can be used it the classroom and to support your decision making, when using a spreadsheet to maintain your records, exam & test results.  When is Excel more effective than Word?  At the end of the day, participants will have a grasp of “the basics” and have fully annotated notes which cover File Handling, Input of Data, Printing and Basic Functions available in Excel.
